Conducted site visits and collaborated with client representatives to identify unique customer needs. Designed and led 4 developers in creating warehouse management system that interfaced with company's SAP system. Spent two weeks on-site to provide oversight for Go-Live of new system.
*Served as IT project lead for 3M contract. Met with client project management, site managers and staff to define, develop, implement, and test software to support unique customer requirements for a new warehouse horizontal carousel system. Designed, developed, and tested communications system to integrate WMS with Allen-Bradley PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) carousel controller using PLC software written for another system. Despite lack of documentation and bugs in old code, successfully learned PLC language to create interface software that met client's business requirements.
